    Before you start learning Vietnamese, here is some information about this magnificent language.

    It is a tonal language. The same word can have a completely different meaning depending on the tone used. And there are 6 of them. It is therefore necessary to master the accents to have perfect pronunciation. If you don’t use the right accent, your interlocutor will not understand you. Pronunciation is therefore the basis to acquire during your Vietnamese lessons.

    The sentence structure is very different from French. There is no personal pronoun. However the grammar is quite simple. In terms of writing, it is a language that uses the Latin alphabet, enriched with a few letters and accents. It is also the only Asian country using this form of alphabet.
